My products are inspired by nature and filled with heart. They are free of harmful chemicals like sodium laurel sulfate, parabens, phthalates, petroleum by-products and artificial coloring/preservatives.
My soaps especially are created the old-fashioned ‘cold process’ way which ensures that the ingredients retain their natural properties and natural glycerin stays intact. This is a sure way to deliver maximum benefit to your skin. After ‘moulding’, these soaps go through a long period of ‘curing’ which lasts up to 6 weeks. This is a slow but perfect method of making soap, it however means that shapes and weights may slightly vary.
Our oils and butters are unrefined and organic and sourced from villages in Northern and Southern Ghana to create a reasonable line of income for the hard-working village women who labour to bring you organic butters and oils. It also ensures that we are ploughing back into the domestic economy and contributing to economic growth.
As a northern woman, I am heavy on Shea Butter use. Most of our soaps are shea butter based, sometimes as much as 80 percent shea butter! This is the most Shea Butter you will find in commercial soap ANYWHERE!. Organic Shea Butter has High concentrations of fatty acids and vitamins which make it the ideal cosmetic ingredient for softening and healing skin, with strong anti-inflammatory and healing properties. Using shea butter on your skin over time can condition, tone, and soothe your skin.
